This wedding is very special to me and I know a lot of people have been waiting on the images…here they are! Amy is a dear friend of mine from when I lived in Colorado. We had the most beautiful apartment. Fireplace, patio overlooking the Flatirons, skylight in the kitchen, etc. Definitely had some fun girlfriend times there. Amy had moved back to Boston (by way of grad school at Columbia in NY) and we continued our friendship over the phone. The last time I actually saw this girl was at my wedding over 5 years ago. She had told me about Ben a bunch and then they moved in together and then we got the call. The date was set and they were making it legal. They had their ceremony at West Park Winery, which is about an hour north of New York City and near where Amy’s parents live. Jason and I planed, trained and automobiled it up to Poughkeepsie for the weekend. Amy and Ben picked us up at the train and for me and Amy, it was like no time had passed And in typical Amy fashion, she mentions that she has no bouquet for the ceremony. You know, the ceremony that is tomorrow! That goodness for YouTube! I am now a bouquet maker extraordinaire! Barely 3 days flew by in an instant and Jason and I had an amazing time catching up with old friends and making some wonderful new ones. Since I was actually a guest at this wedding, I only grabbed a few shots during the beautiful ceremony (I danced my you-know-what off the rest of the night!).
