I can’t believe I grew up going to Peanut Island all the time and never made it around to the other side to check out the historical Coast Guard Station and realize what a wonderful wedding venue it is. Jodi and Douglas are such a fun and beautiful couple and we were blessed with one of those perfect temperate blue skies South Florida days for their wedding. As a second shooter on this one, my images have a bit more of the groomsmen (like Jodi’s sister giving Douglas his gift from the bride or the crazy ride over on the boat!), but Jodi and her girls really stole the show. I also loved the flamingo cake topper and the very Old Florida plantation-ey aspect. It was awesome to see Jodi’s Dad at the bottom of the steps waiting for her to come out so he could walk her down the aisle. The details were gorgeous and I truly adored this southern wedding!
