  • Welcome to the blog!

Hi! I'm Rachel and thanks for visiting my blog. It means a lot to me that something here has sparked your interest. Most of the items I post will be photography related. You know...weddings, family photo sessions, maternity/newborn, engagements and so on. I might sometimes tell you about my husband, whom I adore, my 2 dogs and a cat or my other crazy friends and family. I might also share with you some things going on in my life that hopefully you find interesting, or at the very least humorous, give some tips on being 'green', and definitely impart all my fun iPhone photo app images.
If you are here and in need of a photographer, super! I can't wait to hear from you. Let's talk about plans for amazing locations, fun props, gorgeous lighting, and having a really great time creating the most memorable images :)

Every year I do Santa Mini Sessions. It is a labor of love. Every year I say it’s the last. And then every year I can’t wait to start planning for the next one. Really loved our new location, Kelsey Park. Located in Lake Park, my hometown, I think we might just have found the perfect spot! Thanks so much to all who came out, so many returning clients (whom I’d rather call friends!) and a bunch of lovely newcomers as well. And thanks to Stacy for keeping it real…it’s worth it to scroll to the end;)

This lovely couple right here is my Mom and Gary <3

Oh, just Stacy and I laughing it up after 12 Santa Mini Sessions…

And, last but not least, MY FAMILY!!!

This is the loveliest and sweetest couple ever:)Andreas was sure to take care of Yairy at every step and we were blessed with beautiful weather and light at Dubois Park in Jupiter for their maternity session. Incorporating an Asian aspect with their unique kimonos was a personal request which came from a notion of how their relationship began and I couldn’t have been more happy to oblige!

This wedding. Happy 1 Year Anniversary to this beautiful couple. This is my “little” cousin Lauren. I photographed her and her sister’s senior pictures. I photographed her sister’s wedding. Her and Mike came to me with the same question: would you photograph or wedding or would you rather be a guest? Really a tough one! The decision was made and a little bittersweet…this would be the last family wedding I would photograph. And of course, it was gorgeous. That being said, it was in Wisconsin. In November. Our plans of shooting outside were a bit foiled due to temperatures in the 30s. But Lauren and Mike were troopers and you can tell from the amazing images. Lake Lawn Resort provided unique indoor opportunities as well. And it was over a mile in length, so we worked off all the wedding food;)  It was such a great time and I’m so thankful I have such a wonderful family and that my hubs was there as my assistant (the last photo is of him and my pretty momma!).

So happy to share beautiful Valentina’s newborn photography session today. Her just as beautiful mama, Daniela, contacted me for photos and we had to be quick about it. In the midst of having a baby, her and her husband were moving from Miami to Orlando and she was currently staying with her mom in the Palm Beach area. Whew! Carlos came down and we made some magic <3

Finally settling in to really get back on schedule with work. Hurricane Irma left us without cable or internet for almost 2 weeks. That being said, we were very lucky to really only sustain some superficial damage and just some anxiety for a bit. My heart goes out to the Keys and the outlying islands that have been devastated. On a happier and prettier note, I want to share some of my favorites from the sweetest couple. They were expecting baby boy #2 here. And Blowing Rocks never disappoints.
