I have so much to say about this wedding. Megan and David came to me with a very important question: Would you like to photograph our wedding or be our guest? Eeesh. I had to give it a week to mull it over and then the photographer in me won out. You see, Megan is my little cousin. I just knew the wedding would be chock full of creative details and beautiful people, so I really couldn’t pass up the opportunity. And a travel destination as well! These two tied the knot at Illinois State Beach Resort and Conference Center on Lake Michigan. It was the best combination of garden and beach wedding. We were worried about some storm clouds but they just made for more interesting photos. Megan’s sister, who was her Maid of Honor, and mom really pitched in on putting this event together and I truly enjoyed capturing the love these women have for each other. Even some happy tears from Dad, too. And thanks to the awesome bridal party who were up for anything!
