  • Welcome to the blog!

Hi! I'm Rachel and thanks for visiting my blog. It means a lot to me that something here has sparked your interest. Most of the items I post will be photography related. You know...weddings, family photo sessions, maternity/newborn, engagements and so on. I might sometimes tell you about my husband, whom I adore, my 2 dogs and a cat or my other crazy friends and family. I might also share with you some things going on in my life that hopefully you find interesting, or at the very least humorous, give some tips on being 'green', and definitely impart all my fun iPhone photo app images.
If you are here and in need of a photographer, super! I can't wait to hear from you. Let's talk about plans for amazing locations, fun props, gorgeous lighting, and having a really great time creating the most memorable images :)

Self Portrait

In case you wanted to know a little about what makes me tick…

My husband, Jason, is my best friend and gives the most awesomest pep talks.

My favorite color is purple and I adore butterflies (for me they represent change and renewal).

We refer to our house as the “circus” due to the crazy antics of our boxer, rescue mutt, and kitty.

I am a conservationist. I am trying to save the world. My belief is ‘one less ripple’. If people are educated on just how much tiny changes in their lives can improve our planet, maybe there is hope yet.

I’m a native Floridian and a true ginger.

I love 2nd hand stores, thrift shops, Goodwill, craigslist, etc. Repurpose, reclaim, recycle.

I taught myself to read when I was 3. I constantly have a book and love learning and researching things I do not know.

I am low maintenance.

I graduated from the University of Florida (I won’t tell you when!). Orange and Blue…Go Gators!!!

I love big, bold, bright colors.

I love anything vintage and retro. I think I should have either grown up in the 50’s or 70’s.

I use the word “eesh”.

I could go on and on, but you’ll have to meet me in person to discuss the rest.:)
