  • Welcome to the blog!

Hi! I'm Rachel and thanks for visiting my blog. It means a lot to me that something here has sparked your interest. Most of the items I post will be photography related. You know...weddings, family photo sessions, maternity/newborn, engagements and so on. I might sometimes tell you about my husband, whom I adore, my 2 dogs and a cat or my other crazy friends and family. I might also share with you some things going on in my life that hopefully you find interesting, or at the very least humorous, give some tips on being 'green', and definitely impart all my fun iPhone photo app images.
If you are here and in need of a photographer, super! I can't wait to hear from you. Let's talk about plans for amazing locations, fun props, gorgeous lighting, and having a really great time creating the most memorable images :)

Back for baby boy number 2! New house and a new brother. I met Michael and Katie while photographing my dear client’s (really more like amazing friends) wedding. Michael was the best man and Katie was six months pregnant with their first son. We talked about newborn photos and the rest is history;)  As usual I have a lot of favorite parts about this shoot, but I really dig the opportunity to pay homage to the Firemen and First Responders, as well as the Red, White and Blue!

Lauren was the sweetest when she contacted me about a maternity photography session while she and her hubs, Randy, were visiting in Jupiter. They were coming from Chicago, so we had that connection to chat about and she had an idea of what she was looking for which she then let me run with. Such a beautiful free spirit and up for whatever! And I’m always grateful when the men help me carry props (which Randy went above and beyond for). ;)We began at one of my go-to’s, Blowing Rocks Preserve and topped it off with a Juno Beach Pier cherry on top.

Shawn contacted me in a bit of a rush as they had decide last minute to have a family photography session before her partner, Jan’s, daughters and granddaughter returned to France. I’m so happy I was available. We chose one of my favorite-est lovely locations of Palm Beach Island for the shoot. It was a beautiful day for a beautiful family. I knew Shawn and I had a connection because she started apologizing for picking up trash other people had left at the beach and I laughed. I helped her pick up what we could carry and explained I did stuff like that all the time (sometimes to my husband’s chagrin-like taking home all the recycling from a party in out trunk!)…
