  • Welcome to the blog!

Hi! I'm Rachel and thanks for visiting my blog. It means a lot to me that something here has sparked your interest. Most of the items I post will be photography related. You know...weddings, family photo sessions, maternity/newborn, engagements and so on. I might sometimes tell you about my husband, whom I adore, my 2 dogs and a cat or my other crazy friends and family. I might also share with you some things going on in my life that hopefully you find interesting, or at the very least humorous, give some tips on being 'green', and definitely impart all my fun iPhone photo app images.
If you are here and in need of a photographer, super! I can't wait to hear from you. Let's talk about plans for amazing locations, fun props, gorgeous lighting, and having a really great time creating the most memorable images :)

In homage to the kickoff of the Honda Classic I just had to share this gorgeous golf inspired wedding I second shot at PGA National Resort and Spa! It was a dream… Worked with a great team, most beautiful bride and groom, perfect weather and location, extra time in the schedule with a awesome first look and totally fun family and bridal party! It did monsoon during the outdoor ceremony, but they say that’s good luck, right??!!? Destination wedding done right;)

I soooo love this newborn photography session up in Jupiter. Andrea called to book the session right amidst the craziness of the holiday photo season and were able to get a good date on the books. Then I get the text that baby Jack decided to come a bit early! As you can see it all worked out. So…I get to the house and because they were still working on the nursery everything for the baby was laid out on the enormous dining room table. A dream for me! So much cute stuff to choose from and a beautiful house to photograph in and a delicious baby boy! I couldn’t have been more excited. It was fun to tie in different things like James love of cooking, the adorable elephant laundry hamper and the little lamb pull toy. Even was able to use some vintage Christmas lights from when I was growing up:)

Every year I do Santa Mini Sessions. It is a labor of love. Every year I say it’s the last. And then every year I can’t wait to start planning for the next one. Really loved our new location, Kelsey Park. Located in Lake Park, my hometown, I think we might just have found the perfect spot! Thanks so much to all who came out, so many returning clients (whom I’d rather call friends!) and a bunch of lovely newcomers as well. And thanks to Stacy for keeping it real…it’s worth it to scroll to the end;)

This lovely couple right here is my Mom and Gary <3

Oh, just Stacy and I laughing it up after 12 Santa Mini Sessions…

And, last but not least, MY FAMILY!!!

This is the loveliest and sweetest couple ever:)Andreas was sure to take care of Yairy at every step and we were blessed with beautiful weather and light at Dubois Park in Jupiter for their maternity session. Incorporating an Asian aspect with their unique kimonos was a personal request which came from a notion of how their relationship began and I couldn’t have been more happy to oblige!

This wedding. Happy 1 Year Anniversary to this beautiful couple. This is my “little” cousin Lauren. I photographed her and her sister’s senior pictures. I photographed her sister’s wedding. Her and Mike came to me with the same question: would you photograph or wedding or would you rather be a guest? Really a tough one! The decision was made and a little bittersweet…this would be the last family wedding I would photograph. And of course, it was gorgeous. That being said, it was in Wisconsin. In November. Our plans of shooting outside were a bit foiled due to temperatures in the 30s. But Lauren and Mike were troopers and you can tell from the amazing images. Lake Lawn Resort provided unique indoor opportunities as well. And it was over a mile in length, so we worked off all the wedding food;)  It was such a great time and I’m so thankful I have such a wonderful family and that my hubs was there as my assistant (the last photo is of him and my pretty momma!).
