  • Welcome to the blog!

Hi! I'm Rachel and thanks for visiting my blog. It means a lot to me that something here has sparked your interest. Most of the items I post will be photography related. You know...weddings, family photo sessions, maternity/newborn, engagements and so on. I might sometimes tell you about my husband, whom I adore, my 2 dogs and a cat or my other crazy friends and family. I might also share with you some things going on in my life that hopefully you find interesting, or at the very least humorous, give some tips on being 'green', and definitely impart all my fun iPhone photo app images.
If you are here and in need of a photographer, super! I can't wait to hear from you. Let's talk about plans for amazing locations, fun props, gorgeous lighting, and having a really great time creating the most memorable images :)

Samantha + Nathan | Boca Raton Wedding Photography

I am so excited to post some of my favorites from this awesome wedding I second shot. I honestly don’t even know where to begin. Okay, as a second, I was with the boys while they were getting all handsomey. What a fun group of guys! They were up for whatever and even brought the tunes. When it was time to head to the venue I ended up driving the groom. Great time to hear the story of how he and Samantha met freshmen year at Tufts and the rest was history for them. So then there’s the venue. The Chapel of Saint Andrew in Boca Raton. So gorgeous. Debbie (in charge of the weddings there) mentioned that they were just starting to have the wedding receptions outside. I couldn’t get over just how perfect the set up looked. Very romantic and southern and such pretty flowers from Ever After Floral Design. I love flowers. We had a smidgen of finger crossing about the weather but it turned out better than hoped for. Lazy sunset and a lovely breeze. And I’m only getting started here. Samantha and Nathan’s first look was so pretty and special and their ceremony was so happy and overflowing with emotion. I mean you’ll just have to look at the images. I also had the pleasure of working with Teresa of Simply Couture Weddings and Events. What a doll! She had all the details taken care of. No worries. And then there was this one last thing. The cake was ridiculous. I took way too many photos of it. For those of you that know me (and if you follow my Instagram, @rachelwallace), you know second to my photography is my baking. I didn’t find out the maker was Earth and Sugar until later and I was so bummed I didn’t get to speak to them because I have been stalking them for quite awhile now! It was the first thing I mentioned to the Hubs when I got home:)

Second shot for George Street Photo and Video.
